Much like Welcome to Wildepark!, the Omaha series serves as photographic research about being in a new place. Omaha differs significantly in pedestrian experience from cities I’m used to: sidewalks are either very broad or non-existent, paths end without warning. Walking becomes weird. These images track the evidence of human systems in an urban environment.

These photographs were disseminated as a postcard series at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, adopting the everyday touristic means of sharing information as a stealth practice.
