Process Late Lunch is a single-channel, 4-split video installation created for Künstlerhaus Stuttgart’s Ich/I exhibit. The video shows all of the footage from a private performance of Process Dinner (in this case a late lunch), presented as four simultaneous sections. The viewer can track the process of the meal across the screen as well as through time, experiencing the audience eating and concluding the meal in one section, as they are greeted in another, and engage in preparation in two. This video is intended to destabilize the linear archive of the meal, introducing it as an ongoing, looping ritual made up of familiar gestures.
