The Welcome to Wildepark! series tracks the impact of human systems on otherwise “natural” environments. The park surrounding Akademie Schloss Solitude differs from the parks I’m used to in that it seems to eschew sociability in favor of woods. The paths are designed for distance walking rather than for wandering, and are laid out around the return to straight lines leading in distinct directions. Social areas are clearly marked. The wildness of the park surrounds the space intended for human use.

These photographs were disseminated as a postcard series, adopting the everyday touristic means of sharing information as a stealth practice.
